George Pinwell was educated at St. Martin's Lane Academy & Heatherley's Academy, part of a group of British artists that included Frederick Walker & Arthur Boyde Houghton. George Longfellow was a long time illustrator for the Cincinnati Enquirer, received his BFA from Cleveland Institute of Art, also studied at University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Art Academy and Yale. 315 Manabu Saito Japan/New York Watercolor Painting Manabu Saito Japan/New York Watercolor Painting Manabu Saito Japan(  N.Y.  & Arizona), after a degree in Tokyo, he emigrated to the U.S. and studied at the Pratt Institute. He began illustrating botanicals in the 1950 for such publications as National Geographic, and was the illustrator of many books on plants and wildflowers. He exhibited  N.Y. Botanical Gardens, museums in Sydney, Tokyo, N.Y., Arizona, Calif., Cape Town, New Orleans, Stockholm, Edinburgh and more.
