139 HARRY SHOKLER (NY) OIL PAINTING HARRY SHOKLER (NY) OIL PAINTING Harry Shokler (New York, 1896-1978) 13" x 16" oil on canvas of a country landscape.  Signed lower left "Shokler" and dated "34".  A great country painting in which Harry must of loved the scenery.  He painted a similar scene of the same area in 1950, which sold at auction in 2010.  Harry Shokler was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1896 and later moved to New York and eventually settled in Londonderry, Vermont.   Good condition. 400 800

149 FINE CHINESE CARVED  BRACKET CLOCK FINE CHINESE CARVED  BRACKET CLOCK 19th century in two part ornately pierce carved teak case with enamel painted domed dial with Roman numerals, set in brass bevel on floral scroll engraved back-plate that is signed with Chinese characters above dial, sides have glass windows for viewing the brass spring driven time and strike works that have two top mounted bells and are also signed on back-plate, all in original finish, lacking key.
