MATT A. DALY (ROOKWOOD ARTIST, OHIO) OIL PAINTING Mathew A. Daly (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1860-1937) 15" x 9" oil on wood panel.  Titled "Mount Assmaboine" with Native American.  Signed "M.A. Daly" lower right.  Daly studied with Frank Duvaneck, Thomas Noble and Louis Lutz.  Worked as an artist for Rookwood Pottery Company.  He was a member of the Cincinnati Art Club, American Artists Professional League and McMicken School of Design.  Born in Mt. Adams (Cincinnati), Daly is one of Cincinnati's best known artist.  Examples of his work are in the collection of the Cincinnati Art Museum and the University of Cincinnati. 300 600

TODD (ROOKWOOD CINCINNATI, OHIO ARTIST) OIL PAINTING Charles Stewart Todd, Rookwood artist (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1885--) 19" x 15" oil on canvas still life painting.  Signed lower right "C.S.T.".  Charles Todd was born in Owensboro, Kentucky.  He studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy with Alfred Snell and A. Heiter.  He worked for the Rookwood Pottery Company in Cincinnati.  Good condition.   200 400

MARTIN RETTIG (ROOKWOOD CINCINNATI ARTIST) PAINTING Martin Rettig, Rookwood artist (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1869-1956) 15" x 12" oil on board of still life of flowers.  Signed lower right "M. Rettig".  Rettig worked at Rookwood Pottery from 1881-1885.  He studied with Frank Duvaneck at the Cincinnati Art Academy.  He was a charter member and first president of the Connate Art Club.  Good condition.   300 500
