39 EARLY FOLK ART CARVED KENTUCKY PUZZLE APPLE WITH OLD PAINT Unusual carved puzzle apple with rounds of holes inside to line up.  Great old brownish-mustard paint with green painted stem lid and unusual carved interlocking three piece stand.  Found in Morehead, Rowan County, Kentucky.  Family states apple is from area folk artist carver. Ca. 1930.  Excellent condition.  Apple is 4" h.  3" w.  Stand is 7" h.  EST.  $300. - $500.
40 EARLY FOLK ART CARVED KENTUCKY BALANCING MONKEY Monkey is holding over shoulder balancing wood blocks as weights on tree root stand.  Found in Morehead, Rowen County, Kentucky.  Family states monkey is from area folk artist carver.  Ca. 1930.  Excellent condition.  Figure 4" h.  Overall height 15" h.  12" w.  EST.  $100. - $300.
