177 SIGNED & DATED 1887 OHIO EIGHT POINT STAR QUILT Wonderful handmade quilt signed "CCR" and dated "SEP 15, 1887" with large eight point star in center and white panels with quilted leaves and other work.  Staining in white area from storage; otherwise, excellent unused condition.  Signed "CCR",  twice "Sep 15" twice, and 1887 twice. From Cincinnati estate.   88" square.  EST. $500.- $1,000.  
178 EARLY HANDMADE "TREE OF LIFE" QUILT 16 panels of red, white and yellow six pointed trees with green bases.  Overall unused excellent condition with minor browning.  Some pencil marks still visible.  Approx. 78 1/2" x 86".  EST. $300. - $600. 
179 EARLY APPLIQUE "WHIG ROSE" HANDMADE QUILT Twelve appliqued roses with floral quilting in between.  Minor stains; otherwise, excellent condition.  Approx. 69" x 89".  EST. $300. - $600.

183 EARLY SAMPLER FROM WARREN COUNTY, OHIO FAMILY Fine sampler by Jane Retallick, Aged 10, 1847, 15" x 16" on linen with figures of urns, birds, crowns, trees, animals, man and woman, etc. with a verse. The Retallick family lived in Warren County. Jane Retallick 1837 - 1863 is buried in Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Warren Co., Ohio. Found near Lebanon, Ohio from a family descendent. In a 1930's frame. A few stains and light fading, otherwise good condition. EST. $1,000. - $2,500.

188 EARLY AMERICAN WALNUT CHIPPENDALE INLAID CHEST Chippendale chest,Ca. 1780 - 1800.  Four drawer chest with overlapping drawers and string inlay with original brasses.  Dovetailed case with string inlay around front and bottom of sides resting on original splayed bracket feet.  Dust proof under second drawer and bottom.  Pine secondary wood.  Fine original finish.  A great size chest with original finish and original brasses.  Slight chip to front molding and some cracks to feet, otherwise very good condition.  41" h.  39" w.  21" d.  EST.  $1,000. - $3,000.
