352 JOSEPH HENRY SHARP (CINCINNATI, OH) PENCIL DRAWING Joseph Henry Sharp (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1859-1953) 10" x 8" pencil drawing on paper of a portrait of a veteran.  Signed lower right "J.H. Sharp" and dated "Nov.-82".  Sharp was born in Bridgeport, OH. on Sept. 27, 1859.  He was a painter illustrator and teacher whose love affair with the American Southwest and its native people was vividly expressed in his art.  Sharp's love and talent of painting Native American Indians has led him to be one of America's premier artists.  His works can be found in museums throughout the country.  Fine condition.  EST. $1000. - $2500.
